About this role

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinic Registered Nurse, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and outcomes. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to those of all ages within a small primary care practice. Reporting directly to a physician and nurse practitioners, this nurse is responsible for conducting patient intake/assessments, administering medications/immunizations, providing patient education and collaborating closely with colleagues during regular day shifts. This position requires a dedication to clinical excellence in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

  • Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history collection and physical examinations to determine clinical needs.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately, including medication management and injection administration following aseptic techniques.

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, phlebotomy and laboratory testing procedures to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) efficiently by documenting patient encounters, updating medical records and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Provide triage services to prioritize patient needs effectively in an outpatient setting while delivering exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain infection control standards through adherence to CDC guidelines.
  • Educate patients on health coaching topics including medication adherence, nutrition, pain management strategies and disease prevention.

Experience

  • Valid RN license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience working in clinical settings such as outpatient clinics, urgent care centers or hospital environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or AthenaHealth for accurate documentation and record management.
  • Background in diverse specialties such as internal medicine, pediatrics or family medicine is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures, specimen processing and diagnostic evaluation enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient education and family support are essential for success in this role.
