About this role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Infusion team! This is a wonderful opportunity to expand into a high-end outpatient specialty field that continues to grow and evolve. We are looking for an RN who can demonstrate empathy and kindness and who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients.
This is an incredibly rewarding specialty where the RN plays an important role contributing to the improvement of outcomes as well as patients' quality of life. Experienced and new grad nurses should apply who will receive personalized training from a certified oncology nurse. We offer flexible working schedules and assistance with working towards their oncology certification.
Duties for the RN will include being responsible for administering antibiotics, biologic infusions, immunotherapy and chemotherapy. The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients and their families following the nursing process, established standards and practices. They will assist physicians and other team members in coordinating patient care and function as a resource for support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants).

Requirements
- Associate Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Current NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse
- ACLS and BLS certified required upon hire
- Infusion experience is a plus but training will be provided
- ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification or will assist candidate to obtain certification within 6-9 months after hire
- Med Surg/Hospital experience preferred but not required
- Strong computer skills, EMR experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
