Description
- We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in a full-time capacity, providing care in a residential setting for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- The position is based in Brooklyn, NY, and requires working 35 hours per week.
- The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to manage medical needs in a structured environment.
Requirements
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing medical needs of residents.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Review lab results and consults, ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
- Provide on-site clinical support and guidance to residential staff.
- Supervise and support AMAP staff, including training and recertification.
Qualifications
- Active NYS RN license.
- Prior experience in residential, ICF, or OPWDD settings strongly preferred.
- Experience with adult populations and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong documentation and care coordination skills.
