American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring C-EFM certification and at least one completed travel assignment.
Details
Labor & Delivery unit setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:50-07:20)
Every other weekend required
Call required, 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
May float to Mother/Baby or scrub duties if qualified
Uses Cerner charting system
Requirements
Active RN license (MD license or compact license required)

Responsibilities include labor and delivery management, high-risk and vaginal delivery assistance, C-section circulation and scrubbing, fetal heart rate monitoring, and postpartum/newborn care
Care duties may include Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and other antepartum/postpartum medication administration
Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower pay rate
No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
First-time travelers are not eligible; prior travel assignment experience is required
