Registered Nurse (RN) – Daytime Hours

Adult Day Health Care Program – Jackson Heights, Queens

Regal Heights is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Adult Day Health Care Program. This is a great opportunity for an RN looking for a consistent 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. daytime schedule with no evening or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments for new and existing participants

Develop, review, and update nursing care plans

Monitor participants’ medical conditions and report significant changes

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Coordinate care with physicians, families, managed care plans, therapists, and other providers

Administer medications and treatments as ordered, when applicable

Participate in person-centered care planning

Help ensure compliance with program policies and Department of Health requirements

Complete UAS-NY assessments after receiving the required training and access

Qualifications

Current New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing

Strong assessment, care-planning, and documentation skills

Experience in geriatrics, home care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, managed long-term care, or adult day health care preferred

UAS-NY experience preferred but not required

Must be willing to complete the required UAS-NY training

Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
