Details Work in an Ambulatory Care unit within an acute patient care setting Provide direct patient care, patient/family education, and support transitions of care Rotating night shifts available: 4x10-hour shifts (9:00 PM-7:30 AM) or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) Weekend rotation required No on-call responsibilities Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required Minimum 2 years of ACU/PACU experience required Prior travel experience required Epic charting system experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Additional Information Deliver holistic, individualized nursing care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors into the plan of care Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication Local candidates accepted at the local rate Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for the travel rate Returning employees must have a minimum 1-year separation before returning as a traveler Maximum RTO is 7 days per contract Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract Holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
