About this role

The Registered Nurse Inpatient is accountable for patient care consistent with established nursing practices and hospital policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse Inpatient assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates a plan of nursing care for patients commensurate with training and licensure. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team, receives direction from physicians and other professional personnel, and supervises and delegates to non-licensed staff. Position is at OrthoIndy Hospital Main in Indianapolis, IN in the OIH Inpatient Services department. Full-time night shift, three

  • 12 hour shifts per week, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am and 4 weekend night shifts per 6 week schedule.

Requirements

  • RN license
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse with the State of Indiana required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred
