About this role
Wage - $32.00 per hour - DOE. Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday. Reports to the health and wellness director (HWD). Provides assistance to the medical providers and supervision of staff LPNs. Works in collaboration with the HWD and provides oversight of the wellness clinic in their absence. Is responsible for assuring all medical clinical care is provided to students within Department of Labor (DOL) requirements and federal, state, and local regulations. Essential functions include providing nursing care to students, supervising staff LPNs, providing basic healthcare including immunizations, monitoring ill students, conducting health record audits, chronic care management, staff training, on-call rotation, and reporting.
Requirements
Active, unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of employment. Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer proficiency required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
