About this role

*Christ-Centered Ministries (CCM)* is a non-profit organization whose vision is to see positive change in our community by helping individuals develop rehabilitative lifestyles, rebuild family relationships, and *develop life skills* that will aid them in their pursuit towards becoming productive citizens.

*CCM* is currently *seeking enthusiastic and dedicated people* to support their transitional housing and outreach programs contracted through Department of Health Services (DHS) and Offices of Diversion and Reentry (ODR) which ultimately *help* fight the *homeless and provide supportive services for the Reentry population. Our clients are part of a Community Based Restoration program that allows them to avoid jail time and work towards recovery and stability. *

The *Clinician and/or Clinical Supervisor *works in a residential setting and is responsible for completing biopsychosocial assessments, providing therapy (individual and group), and managing crises to unhoused individuals. The clinician works as part of a multidisciplinary team including medical staff, case managers, and program managers in order to provide wraparound services to best support our clients. Documentation of services completed as required by Department of Health Services (DHS) standards.

Certifications

*

  • Mental Health Professional (MSW, MFT, PCC) possessing an MSW, MFT, or MPC degree
  • Registered with the BBS and collecting hours towards licensure
  • Experience dealing with homeless, mentally ill and substance abuse populations preferred;
  • Experience in social service setting with working knowledge of case management systems and planning techniques;
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention, Part-R, CPR and First Aid;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • A valid CA driver license, reliable transportation and a good driving record;
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) desirable.

  • Team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment and operates effectively at all levels;
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and cope effectively with ambiguity;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to present persuasively.
