Advanced Surgery Center of San Antonio (ASCSA) is hiring! We are currently looking for an RN to add to our team. We are multi-specialty facility with 2 O. R.'s and 1 Procedure Room.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, can multi-task, can be flexible in assignments, maintain meticulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

This position offers opportunity to work in a fast paced outpatient ambulatory surgery center (ASC) that requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate. Come and join our team!

Requirements

  • One year experience in the perioperative setting including PreOp, OR and PACU
  • Current Texas RN License
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to start IV’s
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of patients.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
