About this role
Conducts admission visits in care facilities and client homes. Performs initial insurance verifications and obtains initial authorizations from payer groups. Initiates admission to agency, i.e. enters admission information into EMR, orders DME, opens pharmacy account, etc. Educates referring parties and referred individuals regarding the structure and components of Hospice of Spokane’s services, including pertinent programs, fiscal responsibilities, admission criteria and discharge criteria.
Qualifications
- RN required.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle for on-the-job transportation, acceptable driving record.
