Job Description

Demonstrates compliance with mandatory meetings through attendance, written testing, or make-up sessions. Maintains accurate and complete Employee Health records. Monitors and tracks bloodborne pathogen exposures and Tuberculin skin testing program for compliance per hospital policy.

Monitors Employee Health records for compliance with vaccination requirements per hospital policy. Assists in the organization of employee files, records, and pertinent occupational health statistics to facilitate easy access and analysis. Employs sound professional judgment and demonstrates creativity in recommending reasonable solutions in the work environment.

Assists in the follow-up of workers’ compensation investigations at the request of the Manager and accurately documents findings. Other duties as assigned. Administers medication and vaccines provided in the Employee Health Department.

Conducts new hire assessments and annual assessments for team members. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Although there are policies and procedures governing many of the actions taken and duties performed, basically this position acts independently, and limited supervision is required. Strong knowledge of Federal and State employment regulations as well as organizational Policies and Procedures required. Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.

Ability to prioritize work and multi-task is essential. Must have strong problem-solving skills, and a customer service orientation is critical, with demonstrated flexibility in work responsibilities and style to meet key customer/client needs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and advanced computer skills required.

Vaccine administration preferred. Workman’s compensation case management preferred. Prefer knowledge of healthcare standards and safety regulations preferred.

Associate's of Nursing [Required] Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

1+ years experiences as a registered nurse [Required] Microsoft, Excel, EMR experience [Required]

Additional Information

Professional certification relevant to field preferred.
