The Nurse Manager oversees the safe and efficient operation of assigned departments, ensuring high-quality patient care, staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities include implementing strategic goals, managing daily operations, and developing program objectives to optimize patient outcomes.
The role involves communicating with medical staff to develop and review protocols, policies, and emergency procedures, and leading change initiatives to improve care quality.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years of acute care experience with at least 1 year in the specialty area, management experience, and a valid Multi-State RN License.
Mandatory certifications such as BLS CPR are required, with additional department-specific certifications during orientation.
Preferred Candidates May Pursue a Master’s Degree (MSN).
