About this role
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical Unit (10th Floor) in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities Include
Providing comprehensive nursing care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions. Performing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress. Administering medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments.
Collaborating with physicians, case managers, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Educating patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge planning. Recognizing patient condition changes and intervening promptly to ensure safety.
Maintaining accurate documentation and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications And Skills Required
Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Current valid North Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association. One year of medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience preferred.
