Position Overview
Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Medical/Surgical contract assignment on the night shift. The successful candidate will provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to adult medical/surgical patients while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult medical/surgical patients.
- Assess patients’ physical and clinical conditions and promptly identify changes in health status.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, pain levels, and overall patient response to treatment.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, medications, and outcomes in the CPSI/Evident EMR .
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, discharge instructions, and ongoing care.
Must have
- Current and active California RN license
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Demonstrated experience in adult Medical/Surgical nursing
- #HC1
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
