Non-Medical Caregiver (Homemaker & Personal Care)

*Position Overview*

Amaris Home Health Care Agency is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers to provide non-medical home care services to our clients. This role focuses on helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life within their own homes.

As a representative of our non-skilled division, you will provide "dual services"—combining essential household support with hands-on personal assistance. You will work in a variety of home environments and must maintain the highest level of professionalism and reliability at all times.

*Key Responsibilities*

In this role, you will perform a combination of *Personal Care* and *Homemaking* tasks, including but not limited to:

*Personal Care Services:*

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Providing mobility assistance and safe transfers (standing/pivoting).
• Assisting with toileting and incontinence care.
• Medication reminders (prompting clients to take pre-set medications).

*Homemaking Services:*

• Light housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting).
• Meal planning and preparation according to client preferences or diets.
• Laundry, linen changes, and bed-making.
• Running essential errands such as grocery shopping or pharmacy pickups.

*Reporting:*

• Report directly to the *Non-Skilled Manager*.
• Promptly communicate any changes in the client’s physical condition or home environment to management.

*Working Conditions*

• *Pet-Friendly:* Must be comfortable working in homes with pets (dogs, cats, etc.).
• *Smoking Environments:* Must be willing to provide care in homes where clients may smoke indoors.

• *Reliability:* Exceptional *punctuality and reliability* are non-negotiable for this role. Our clients depend on your consistent presence.
• *Transportation:* Must have *reliable transportation* to travel to various client locations.
• *Professionalism:* Ability to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor during all client interactions.
• *Communication:* Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documenting care.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
