Columbia Health Medical Services seeks self-motivated Registered Nurse with superior triage and clinical assessment skills. Join our multidisciplinary staff of dedicated college health professionals and play a critical role in providing comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered care to our diverse student population. This is an on-site essential role. Responsibilities include triage patient concerns, refer patients for clinical evaluation and follow-up, administer medications and treatments, conduct telephone triage, assist with nursing projects, participate in interdisciplinary committees, coordinate patient care, serve as a clinical resource, participate in educational sessions, administer prescribed medications, engage in ongoing professional development, provide health education, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and support patient flow and care delivery in triage and urgent care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State RN license
  • Minimum 2-4 years related experience
  • CPR Certification
  • Infection Control Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
  • Completion of current CPR and infection control certificate
