About this role

Inova Mt. Vernon Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor to join the Behavioral Health team. This role will be full-time day shift 7:00 am – 7:00 pm with a rotating weekend. Sign on bonus and relocation assistance available for external candidates who qualify. The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor serves as a front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the unit.

Requirements

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or Associate's Degree RN within 1 year of completing their BSN)
  • Inpatient Psychiatric experience preferred
  • Previous leadership/charge experience preferred
