Number of Beds - 24
Number of Staff 46
Patient Ratios : 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity- IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 CCT/US during day shift if 10 patients
Documentation system: EPIC
Scheduling

Straight nights or 50/50
Floating policy: PCU or as a sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient
Typical hiring profile
Must have
2 years of ICU experience, will consider 1 year strong experience
Cardiac Nurse experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s)
Rapid Sequence Intubations
Central line placements
Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills.
Procedures performed on unit: central line placement, bronchoscopy, intubation, arterial line placement, chest tube placement
