About this role
FT Night (36 hours): 7:00 pm-7:30 am (Night
- shift differential $4.00) requires every other weekend. RN delivers care to inmate patients utilizing the nursing assessment protocols in assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. RNs collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Corrections Nurses provide care to inmate patients to promote & improve their overall health utilizing the nursing process in triage, professional training and various resources in accordance with regulatory agencies and established guidelines.

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current unrestricted license to practice as Registered Nurse in the state the facility is located
- RN experience
- Previous correctional health care environment preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
