As the Clinical Risk & Patient Safety RN, you'll have responsibility for supporting the organizational strategic goals and objectives specifically those related to clinical risk management as part of the System's Peer Review process. Performs claims administration, identification of adverse patient events, investigation, documentation and reporting to Legal Services and Corporate Risk and Insurance. Conducts thorough and credible root cause analysis. Educates staff on principles of patient safety and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Required
  • Minimum of 5 years RN work experience - Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN State of Pennsylvania
  • Experience in Clinical Risk and Patient Safety
  • Familiarity with the MCARE Act of 2002 and PA-PSRS
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Midas, Excel, Word, and Acrobat Reader
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to patient safety
  • Skills: Organizing, Teamwork, Computer Literacy, Clinical Skills, Communication, Working Independently, Critical Thinking
