About this role
Registered Nurse position in Behavioral Health Services department at DuPage County Health Department. Performs nursing and case management activities for clients with behavioral health and substance use disorders including medication refills, collaboration with psychiatric prescribers, lab result reviews, emergency response, administering psychotropic medications, monitoring vital signs, and medication reconciliations. Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
Two years of nursing experience
Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Illinois
Knowledge of practices and principles of nursing and psychiatric nursing
Knowledge of relevant social and economic factors influencing client behavior
Knowledge of local health resources
Knowledge of medical records preparation and maintenance techniques
Working skill in instructing others in treatments and practices
