About this role

For over 40 years, The Cooperative has been at the forefront of developing innovative strategies in maternal and child health care. The School Nurse maintains health records and documents student health issues/events in accordance with New Jersey state law for students in non-public school settings. This individual provides on-site medications, health screening, first aid, referrals and triage to students and staff.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of New Jersey
  • Certification in School Nursing not required but preferred
  • CPR and BLS certified
  • Two years of school nursing experience preferred
  • Culturally competent experience working with diverse populations
  • Valid driver’s license, car and current insurance policy
