About this role
As an Emergency Room Tech, you will support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department, performing delegated functions from the RN or Physician. Every day you will conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit. To be successful in this role you will effectively execute delegated tasks, support unit operations, and contribute to a safe and efficient environment.
Assists in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures and tasks within scope of practice. Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and clinical techniques, including (but not limited to): Basic Airway Management, CPR, Vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, oral and rectal temperature, Respirations, and pulse oximetry, Electrocardiogram.
