This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Duties

  • Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
  • Prepares and administers medications charts as required
  • Administers treatments
  • Consults with physicians
  • Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements

  • Long term care experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience in nursing in a long term care environment preferred
  • Must be a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed in Arkansas
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills

  • Long term care or skilled nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Required)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) (Required).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
