Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Temporary Registered Nurse to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality nursing care across various clinical settings, supporting our patients' health and well-being. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to make a positive impact in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Care outpatients with acute and chronic infections—such as HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and complex wound or antimicrobial regimens—while coordinating care alongside physicians, fellow RN, CMA and front office team.
Perform clinical assessments, monitor symptom progression, and track treatment response for patients managing chronic or acute infection; vital and triage patients
IV infusion coordination, vaccinations, and injections, along with internal medicine care
Work with patients/families about infection prevention, medication adherence, disease transmission, self-care for medication and wound care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers, pharmacists, and social support services to manage the continuum of patient care.
Qualifications
Active Hawaii Registered Nurse License
Active Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical, critical care, or public health/private clinic setting
Clinical experience in physician's office a plus
Clear and strong interpersonal communication, high adaptability in a fast-paced environment
