Location: RegalCare at Quincy Position Type: Part-Time / Every Other Weekend

Position Summary

RegalCare at Quincy is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on an every other weekend schedule. The RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations, and promoting a safe and positive environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans. Assess, monitor, and document residents' conditions, reporting any significant changes to the physician and interdisciplinary team. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.

Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition. Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. Participate in shift reports and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold resident rights at all times. Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. CPR/BLS certification required. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Strong assessment, clinical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Schedule

Every other weekend. Day, evening, or night shift based on facility needs. Additional shifts may be available if interested.
