  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with cardiac conditions, monitoring vital signs and symptoms.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
  • Perform triage to prioritize patient care effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Utilize medical imaging techniques and sonography to assist in diagnosing cardiac issues.
  • Provide acute pain management for patients experiencing discomfort or distress.
  • Assist with catheterization procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Educate patients and families about heart health, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including ICD-9 coding for billing and documentation purposes.

*Qualifications*

  • Current nursing license (RN) in good standing.
  • Previous experience in cardiac nursing or related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medication administration and acute care practices.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and sonography is a plus.
  • Strong skills in triage, patient assessment, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in cardiac nursing practices.
