Staff Nurse position in the Cardiovascular Lab. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data; providing age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care; fostering a caring environment; utilizing health and safety equipment; contributing to department performance through precepting and mentoring; participating in evidence-based practices; and floating to assist in other like units as needed. Reports to Director of Nursing.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Registered Nurse License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced resuscitative certification (if serving in charge nurse role)
