Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Manager assumes 24-hour accountability and responsibility for assigned areas, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered nursing care. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating departmental operations, programs, staff, and budgetary resources in support of EvergreenHealth's Mission, Vision, Values, Shared Leadership philosophy, and strategic priorities. The Manager serves as a clinical and operational leader, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
Working in partnership with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and nursing staff, this leader advances quality outcomes, patient experience, caregiver engagement, and operational excellence.

Requirements
- RN
- Compact RN
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and/or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington or holding a multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS – American Heart Association by start date
- 3 years of recent clinical experience in perinatal or critical care nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership experience
- Master's degree in nursing or related field (desired)
- Previous experience in a management or leadership role in an inpatient care setting (desired)
- National nursing specialty or leadership certification, or willingness to obtain within 18 months of hire (desired)
