Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

• Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in an internal medicine setting.
• Manage post-operative care and follow-up in the ambulatory surgery center.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in patient education, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
• Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications as appropriate.

*Skills*

• Proven experience working with Epic EMR systems or similar EHR platforms such as eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation methods.
• Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding standards for accurate billing and documentation.

*Qualifications*

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
• Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Previous experience in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or Ambulatory Care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Monday - Friday and with Ambulatory Surgery Center coverage on some weekends or nights. *

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience with additional pay for weekend and night coverage.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
