About this role
Phoenix Children's is hiring a clinical nurse for the Plastic/Hand Surgery clinic. This role will be mainly at the Thomas campus, but will involve travel to East Valley and Scottsdale locations. The ideal nurse will have a minimum of 2 – 3 years' clinical experience working with surgeons, have outstanding multitasking abilities, and must be able to develop/create detailed surgical care plans.
Incumbent will be meeting with patients to discuss surgery plans, creating orders, and detailed follow up and care plans for patients. This position is M - F, 8 AM - 4 PM, NO holidays, NO weekends and NO call. This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum.
