Role Overview

This position provides direct and indirect patient care in various clinical settings, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The role involves performing general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizing care to ensure safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patients accurately based on their medical conditions. Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments using nursing knowledge and technical skills. Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans tailored to learning needs. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate care. Address psychosocial needs, collaborating with social services for discharge planning. Implement cost-effective practices, managing supplies efficiently. Promote patient safety by minimizing risks and ensuring respectful, autonomous care. Engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. RN licensure with BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Basic computer literacy; preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
