About this role
Registered Nurse position in the Childbirth and Parent Education department at Atrium Health University City. Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care. Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team. Administers medications, treatments, and therapies. Maintains accurate EHR documentation. May float to other units. Part-time, 4 hours per week, 8a-5p flexible schedule.
Requirements
Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license
1 year of experience in clinical nursing
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
Time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
