About this role
The Syracuse VA Medical Center is currently recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse for the Acute Care (6C) Team located in Syracuse, New York. The Registered Nurse- Inpatient Staff- Acute Care assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age specific components. The RN is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based care to assigned patients and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants, as appropriate to the setting. The nurse will assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization consultation. The RN influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team. Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
