Ambulatory RN Clinic

As a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives. Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. Delivers professional nursing care to clinic patients; performs diagnostic testing and related clinical procedures; independently triages nursing situations; addresses complex, urgent or emergent situations. Performs patient assessment/care tests (e.g. EKG, Spirometry, vision/hearing screening, peak flow, color blindness). Makes independent wound assessments and performs complex wound care and dressing changes, including placement or changing of wound vac; removes sutures or staples. Inserts and/or removes tubes, drains, urinary catheters, including removal of PICC; applies splints/braces. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests; ensures patient or family understands follow-up and referral information. Informs patients of lab results, calls in prescriptions and returns practitioners' phone messages.
