Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisor - OB-GYN

Role Overview: This leadership position involves providing clinical supervision on a shift basis, coordinating patient care activities such as admissions, discharges, and transfers, and serving as a unit patient flow coordinator. The role includes staffing coordination, acting as a resource and role model for staff, and participating in staff evaluations and performance reviews. Responsibilities Supervise patient care and ensure effective unit operations Facilitate admissions, discharges, and transfers Coordinate staffing for upcoming shifts Serve as a clinical and leadership resource for staff Contribute to staff evaluations and performance reviews Complete essential competencies and perform related duties Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar unit; 4 years preferred Current Texas RN license; national certification preferred Active healthcare provider BLS certification; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) depending on department Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills Additional Requirements: Compliance with vaccination laws, including proof of vaccination or approved exemption, and willingness to complete required training and certifications.
