A few of the Essential Duties of this role

Ensures agency compliance with all state/federal hospice laws & regulations

Reviews all incoming referrals for appropriateness & manages approvals & assignments

Reviews patient charts for medical diagnoses, procedures, medications, & clinical course

Assists the DCS with planning, implementing & evaluating in-services & CEU programs

Assists with interviewing, hiring, training, & mentoring organization personnel

Participates in QAPI, OASIS review, and coding workflow

Provide symptom management and comfort care for hospice patients in their home

Must be willing to take call when needed

What do we require of our Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice Clinical Manager?

A minimum of 1 year of health care management experience, preferably hospice

Must have at least 1 year of hospice agency experience, including admissions

Must be experienced in HOPE charting requirements for hospice

A BSN degree is preferred, but not required

Current BLS certification

Current Washington state Registered Nurse (RN) license

Experience with Home Care Home Base preferred, but not required

Knowledge of hospice regulations, including Medicare COPs, PDGM, VBP

Licensed and insured driver with reliable transportation
