Registered Nurse - RNFA

A healthcare facility is seeking a qualified individual for a position in the Surgery Recovery Unit for day shifts. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Required Certifications California Registered Nurse (CA RN) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required Scrubs will be provided. Responsibilities The role involves functioning as a perioperative team member, utilizing information from various sources to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, under the direct supervision of a surgeon. The responsibilities include: Operating within the full scope of licensure Accountability for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care Providing direct patient care, patient/family education, and managing transitions of care Delivering holistic and individualized care to patients in the assigned area Developing, implementing, and managing an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care Fostering collaborative relationships with patients, their families/support groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication Adhering to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations to ensure a quality patient experience Engaging in continuous professional growth and development in nursing practice
