The registered nurse practices independently within a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care while developing long-term care strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.
Address patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs in accordance with their practice level.
Administer medications and treatments following protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.
Delegate tasks appropriately to care team members to manage clinical situations effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Additional Information: The role may include multiple shifts, and it is a full-time position.
