Apply Registered Nurse - RN Sewickley, PA * Nursing Apply Job Type Full-time Description Verland is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing Exceptional Care to the individuals that call Verland their Home. Shifts Available Full Time- 36 hours Week 1 * 6 am - 6:30 pm: Monday / Tuesday / Saturday Week 2 * 6 am - 6:30 pm: Sunday / Monday / Friday The Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of individuals under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON). This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Registered Nurse Contributions * Administer and document the prescribed medications and treatments. * Assess the physical status of individuals daily and report any unusual behavior or condition to the Charge Nurse. * Provide emergency care (first aid) for individuals as needed. * Perform laboratory procedures as ordered. * Review ordered individual medications and treatments monthly. * Document care given to individuals on a daily, quarterly, and annual basis. * Develop and implement health care plans for assigned individuals as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and attend any staffing and ITR reviews as a contributing member of the IDT. * Participate in and attend Nursing Department committee meetings as assigned. * Provide feedback and be available for LPNs to consult with should a need arise. * Perform other related duties as required. Minimum Training And Experience * Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Pennsylvania Registration. * Must have at least one year of experience in an acute care facility or related field (rehabilitation, extended care facility). * Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and have all required clearances.
