This is an exciting opportunity for motivated nurses eager to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while advancing their professional skills. *Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews. * Administer medications and injections accurately, following prescribed protocols and ensuring proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). * Manage complex care procedures such as IV infusion, ventilator management, catheterization, wound suturing, and ostomy care. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans aligned with patient needs and medical directives. * Perform diagnostic evaluations, coordinate laboratory specimen collection/processing, and interpret results to inform treatment strategies. * Provide critical care in emergency situations, including airway management, acute pain control, trauma response, and neonatal resuscitation procedures. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical records while adhering to NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements. *Skills* * Extensive experience working with diverse patient populations across settings such as ICU, emergency room, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health. * Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and medical records management. * Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and medical terminology. * Skilled in performing advanced procedures like cardiac catheterization assistance, trauma medicine interventions, dialysis support, and laboratory testing. * Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations such as trauma medicine at Level I & II trauma centers or critical care transport environments. * Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with long-term care settings including assisted living and memory care environments. * Competence in pain management strategies including acute pain management techniques and hospice care practices.
