About this role
Signature Healthcare at Home is seeking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse to Whatcom County!
This position would cover Whatcom County with traveling in the field being the majority of the time spent, and occasional in-person meetings held at the company office in Bellingham. The ideal candidate is someone with home health experience or is eager to grow!

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care, assists with developing a comprehensive plan of care, provides accurate and timely documentation of patient services. Provides appropriate pain/symptom management, evaluation of patient's response to treatment/medication, uses and prepares supplies or equipment efficiently. Completes mandatory education requirements, compliance training, and meets productivity expectations within hourly status. May be required to work outside of designated assigned area based on census or current staffing. Required to daily drive to patient's homes, complete documentation on a smart phone, participate in case conference or case management with other nursing staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program. One to two (1-2) years nursing experience preferred. Community health or medical/surgical experience is preferred. Currently licensed and maintains licensure in the state of planned practice (Washington). Possesses and maintains current CPR certification. Possesses and maintains a valid drivers' license and personal automobile with insurance for daily travel as a requirement.
Schedule, Pay and Benefits
Full-time Monday through Friday, day shift. Autonomy to schedule your own patients and set your own day. Hourly $35-40 per hour eligible for overtime and Mileage Reimbursement. Medical/Dental/Vision available the 1st of the month after hire. Paid company holidays, 2+ weeks PTO and 401k match after 90 days.
