We are currently seeking experienced, compassionate, and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for a long-term healthcare assignment in Denton, TX. If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and thrive in a collaborative clinical environment, we'd love to hear from you.

  • 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Assignment Length: 6-month minimum contract with the opportunity to extend.

What You'll Do

As an LVN, you'll play a vital role in delivering quality nursing care while supporting the health, safety, and well-being of patients. Responsibilities include:

Provide routine and emergency nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments through various routes while following established protocols. Monitor patients' health status, including vital signs, dietary intake, and overall condition.

Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, APRNs, physician assistants, and interdisciplinary care teams. Accurately document treatments, observations, and nursing interventions in medical records. Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and assist with emergency care when needed.

Collect laboratory specimens and perform designated screening procedures. Educate care staff on post-treatment care and monitoring procedures. Maintain infection control standards and follow all facility safety policies.

Ensure medical supplies and equipment are stocked and ready for use. Comply with all facility procedures and Joint Commission Standards. Qualifications Active Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license (or Compact License recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact) Current CPR Certification Valid government-issued photo identification Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience Preferred Skills
