Responsibilities
*
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the appropriate healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Perform assessments and document patient care accurately in *Cerner*.
- Perform and maintain IV therapy as appropriate to scope of practice.
- Conduct phlebotomy and blood specimen collection.
- Monitor and provide care related to gastrostomy tubes and gastric tube feedings.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide patient and family education and support.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional patient-care environment.
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, and infection-control standards.

- Current *LVN/LPN license* in the state of Wisconsin.
- *Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience.*
- Recent *inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred/required*; candidates should have 1–2 years of inpatient rehab experience within the last 2 years.
- *Travel experience required.*
- Current *BLS/CPR certification required.*
