Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an integrative outpatient setting. This role includes patient assessment, triage, IV therapy administration, and monitoring patients throughout treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols. The RN is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards. Strong communication and collaboration with providers are essential to support positive patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Key

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients on the importance of treatment consistency and adherence to individualized care plans
  • Review patient charts, physician orders, lab results, and consents prior to initiating treatment
  • Initiate and administer therapies in accordance with established clinical protocols
  • Maintain a sterile treatment environment and ensure all therapies are delivered precisely per protocol
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and distraction-free treatment area; complete all equipment set up and breakdown
  • Ensure patient charts are available and reviewed prior to treatment or order entry, including medical history and lab results
  • Document all treatments, patient responses, and clinical observations accurately in the EMR
  • Respond promptly to patient emergencies by notifying the appropriate clinical leadership.
  • Triage patients by assessing vital signs, symptoms, and readiness for treatment
  • Initiate, monitor, and discontinue IV therapy in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, both inside and outside the clinic
  • Collaborate closely with practitioners, APRNs and clinical leadership.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect in all interactions with patients, staff, and vendors
  • Adhere to all safety, legal, and procedural standards to maintain a secure and compliant work environment
  • Uphold strict patient confidentiality in all clinical and non-clinical areas

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to maintain composure in fast-paced, emotionally charged environments
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Collaborative team player with a patient-centered approach

Education and/or

Experience

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • At least 1 year of professional nursing experience
  • ICU or ER experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy experience required
  • Previous nursing experience in oncology or a related medical field strongly preferred
  • Infusion experience preferred

Language

Skills

Must speak English. Must have excellent interactive communication skills, making patients feel comfortable and at ease.

Hours

  • Full-time, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday

Physical Demands of Position

While performing the duties of this job, you must be able to stand for periods of up to 7 hours at a time while caring for patients. Delivering infusions requires both being seated and standing as well as the ability to assist patients with physical difficulties into and out of their chair. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
