Inova Mount Vernon | Part Time Perianesthia (PACU) Nurse | Schedule is 20 hrs/week-based on unit needs- 2x10 shifts to cover 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM, M-F with on call requirement to support off-shift times, holidays and weekends | Orientation will be a full-time schedule.
Inova Mount Vernon is looking for Part Time Perianesthia (PACU) Nurse. Schedule is 20 hrs/week-based on unit needs- 2x10 shifts to cover 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM, M-F with on call requirement to support off-shift times, holidays and weekends. Orientation will be a full-time schedule.
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) has 13 bays (10 phase 1s & 3 phase 2s) that serve a diverse surgical population including, general, spine, orthopedic, robotics, urology, plastics, gynecology, breast, podiatry, vascular, ENT and ECT procedures. The PACU is comprised of self-motivated, hardworking and proficient team members. Nurses care for patients in PreOp, Phase 1 and Phase 2 depending on patient needs.

Qualifications
One year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
Education
BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at start; ACLS and PALS required by the end of orientation.
RN PACU Preferred
Qualifications
3 years plus PACU experience preferred.
