Saba Plastic Surgery is seeking an energetic and self-motivated *part time SURGERY registered nurse (RN*) to join our team. The surgical nurse is an integral part of facilitating patient care before, during, and after procedures.

*education & experience*
- Completion of nursing training from an accredited program, required
- Active Arizona registered nurse (RN) license, required
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, required
- Minimum one (1) year of perioperative nursing experience, preferred
- Facial plastic surgery experience, preferred
*roles & responsibilities*
- Prepare patients for surgery by completing paperwork and performing nursing interventions pertinent to the procedures
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
- Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, and monitor and document clinical progress
- Manage overall nursing care in operating room, including record-keeping and providing support to surgical team
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery, and safe escort/transport within perioperative areas and upon discharging
- Educate patients on best practices for recovery, including pain management and wound care
- Assist with operating room setup, turnover, and cleaning for optimal efficiency
- Respond to patient inquiries and messages in a timely manner
- Participate in practice efforts to improve patient care processes and outcomes
- Perform duties in compliance with nursing standards of care, Practice guidelines, and other regulatory entities
- Other duties as assigned or required
