Acute Care RN - Full-Time Day Shift

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices to deliver individualized care. Partnering with patients and families to ensure effective communication, cultural sensitivity, and goal-oriented care. Coordinating and documenting safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration and timely record-keeping.

Supporting performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Mentoring and serving as a preceptor for other staff and students to promote professional growth. Participating in protocol development, resource management, and compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

Licensed RN (single or multi-state compact) with current BLS certification. Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred. Less than 1 year of clinical experience post-graduation preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
