*Position
Summary
* Best Care Home Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled *Registered Nurse (RN)* or *Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)* to provide one-on-one private duty care for a pediatric client in the home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with medically fragile children and be comfortable managing respiratory support, including tracheostomy care and oxygen therapy.

Responsibilities
*
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care in the patient’s home
- Monitor and document vital signs, including oxygen saturation and heart rate
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and on schedule
- Perform tracheostomy care, including cleaning and maintenance
- Provide suctioning as needed to maintain airway patency
- Administer respiratory treatments, including albuterol treatments
- Monitor oxygen therapy and ensure proper equipment function
- Observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the physician and supervisor
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Educate and support family members as appropriate
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and safety protocols
This is a *one-on-one home care* position located in a private residence.

Requirements

- Current SC RN or LPN license (verified and maintained in good standing)
- Minimum *1 year of pediatric experience *(especially with trach and oxygen-dependent patients)
- Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with individualized patient care plans
- Conduct assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient health
- *CPR/BLS certification* (Required)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care
